This fall, the girl’s soccer team started off strong by being placed ninth in the California League. In the North Coast Section Division III, they are holding onto second place, following close behind first place, Calistoga. Their team captains, Maliea Deniz and Abigail Willson have kept the team strong this season. Last season, 2023-2024, they won eight games and lost seven. Last year they placed twelfth in the California League and third in the North Coast Section Division III Rankings. Overall, the captains have been leading the team to victory, taking off with more wins as the season goes on.
The boy’s soccer team is ranked 77th in California and tenth in the North Coast Section Division II. They dropped a level in the California ranking from 76th place during the 2023-2024 school year. They also placed twelfth last year in the North Coast Section Division II. Their team is starting off with a few team captains, including Sam O’Halloran. Sam is very optimistic about the future of this team, “the two divisions merged so we are in a bigger pool of high schools! I’m optimistic for this season and the team is playing well together.” Their team played well and with good coaches and captains, they have been giving it their all.
