Aila McMillan, a junior at Technology High School, is a Copy Editor for the Titan Times in this school year. She’s been a part of this publication since its founding in 2022 and has progressed from Staff Writer to Copy Editor in that time. 

   As a Copy Editor, Aila looks through the first drafts of articles for grammar, spelling, and sentence structure mistakes. She has interests in both literature and STEM which is reflected in her writing. She’s covered a variety of topics, from the evolution of language to the lives and experiences of astronauts on the International Space Station. 

   Aila is a driven writer, even outside of the newsroom. She aspires to write informational books about how humanity has and is progressing technologically and socially. As well as writing, she has a passion for the arts. She has attended every performance that the drama class has put on and creates art herself. Her main art medium is watercolor, but she also loves to make simple sketches as well as acrylic paintings.
