Ellie Akre is a senior at Technology High School, and it is her first year as a Staff Writer in the Journalism class. She was in the club during its first year at Tech High, but due to unfortunate circumstances with class scheduling, she couldn’t take the class the following year. However, Ellie is a part of the newsroom this year, and she is very excited to be back writing for the school newspaper. 

   Additionally, Ellie is the Associated Student Body (ASB) President and is on the Girls’ Varsity Soccer team. She is very dedicated to these parts of her life, and has been in leadership and on the soccer team for all four years of high school. Outside of school and extracurriculars, Ellie loves to go to lakes, rivers, beaches, and the forest. Whenever she gets the chance, she likes to go swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking in these areas.
